BIOGRAPHY
Sebastian Zieba is a Polish-American football (soccer) coach with a diverse background and a passion for the game. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Sebastian spent his early years in Rzeszow, Poland, before returning to New York City with his mother. This bi-cultural upbringing was enriched by summers spent in Poland, deepening his connection to his roots and the sport.
For his education, Sebastian attended high school in Elmhurst, Queens, NY. He furthered his studies at Brooklyn College and then Maryville University. His playing career was notable, starting with his local youth clubs both in Poland and New York, high school team, and progressing to Division 1 Polonia New York SC in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League, New York's oldest and most prestigious soccer league, founded in 1923.
Sebastian's coaching career has been equally impressive. He recently coached at FA EURO Club in Brooklyn, New York, where he led the semi-professional women's team in the Metropolitan Conference of the USL W League. Before this, he played a significant role at the FC Barca International Academy in Long Island, New York. His time there was transformative, as he embraced and was influenced by the FC Barcelona style of coaching and playing.
This experience has left an indelible mark on Sebastian's coaching philosophy. He is dedicated to imparting the skills and style he learned at FC Barcelona to the players he coaches.
